If you’ve been browsing ASOS over the last couple of days, you may have noticed this very cool L’Oreal vid, which is part of a series showcasing new nail colour trends. Now, much as I love a pastel-hued polish, it’s the stunning floral backdrop that steals the show for me. This is one of the many beautiful creations by bespoke florist, Jam Jar Flowers, owned by former Take 2 Models Director Melissa Richardson and i-D magazine designer Jocelyn Lloyd. Melissa and Joce met through work and bonded over their mutual love of flowers, and they now create eclectic arrangements for London’s leading fashion houses and design agencies on a weekly basis, as well as turning their green fingers to weddings, parties and photoshoots up and down the country. And, they’ve just opened up their first studio, a rambling romantic space in South London’s Peacock Yard (complete with roaring log fire and a beautiful window display of mismatched glassware). Have a little look at some of their wonderfully whimsical creations below… and then go pay them a visit.

Love the description “whimsical” – completely captures the mood of the displays.
Thanks Jane! Beautiful aren’t they?
